This Privacy Policy applies to the Crux VPN services and websites operated by Sirius Computer, Inc. (“Sirius”, “we”, “us”, or “our”). It explains how we handle personal data in the context of:

The Crux VPN products, including:

  • Crux VPN SaaS edition
  • Crux VPN self-hosted edition
  • Crux VPN agents
  • Crux VPN mobile applications

This policy describes what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights in relation to that data.

This Privacy Policy applies only to personal data processed by Sirius. Customers operating a self-hosted edition of Crux VPN act as independent data controllers and are responsible for their own data processing practices.

1 - Websites

This section applies to https://crux.sirius.computer and https://docs.sirius.computer.

We do not use cookies, analytics tools, or tracking technologies on these websites. We do not collect any personal data from visitors browsing these sites, other than any data you voluntarily provide via contact forms or direct email. These websites are informational and are not designed to collect personal data unless explicitly submitted by you.

2 - Crux VPN SaaS Edition

This section applies to the hosted version of Crux VPN accessed through the web interface or associated agents and mobile applications installed in conjunction with the SaaS edition.

2.1 - What data do we collect?

Crux VPN SaaS collects the following data:

  • Personal identification information (your name, email address, phone number, etc.)
  • Network device information (device name, IP address, etc.)
  • Network access logging (IP addresses of other sites visited, timestamps, etc.)
  • Crux VPN SaaS access logging (URLs of Crux VPN SaaS pages accessed, timestamps, etc.)
  • Agent diagnostics and metadata (e.g., connection timestamps, OS version, agent version)

If you use the Arqit SKA-Platform™ in conjunction with Crux VPN, Crux VPN agents will collect and send diagnostics and metadata about the equipment on which they are installed to the SKA-Platform. Please refer to the Arqit EULA for further information.

Note: If you use the self-hosted version of Crux VPN, we do not receive or collect any data from the operation of your Crux VPN instance. All configuration data, logs, and network metadata remain under your control and are not transmitted to Sirius. The only data we receive is limited to account and billing information (e.g., your organization’s contact details) in connection with license purchases or support requests.

2.2 - How do we collect your data?

You directly provide Crux VPN SaaS with most of the data we collect. We collect data and process data when:

  • You or your organization’s Crux VPN administrators register users or devices with Crux VPN SaaS
  • You run a Crux VPN SaaS agent on a device

2.3 - How do we use your data?

Crux VPN SaaS collects your data so that we can:

  • Provide your organization’s Crux VPN administrators with detailed logging of your network usage

  • Prevent abuse of Crux VPN services
  • Contact you with security or service-related alerts
  • Notify you of new or enhanced product features

Where required by applicable law (such as the EU General Data Protection Regulation), we process this data on the basis of our legitimate interests, our contractual obligations with your organization, or your consent, as applicable.

Access to logging and diagnostic data is limited to authorized users within your organization and to designated Sirius personnel responsible for service operations and support.

2.4 - How do we store your data?

Crux VPN SaaS securely stores your data at Microsoft Azure data centers in the US. Your data is encrypted when stored or transmitted. Only Sirius operations team members have access to your stored data.

We will keep your data for as long as you have an active account. If you delete your account, we will remove this data from our systems and backups within 90 days.
